About Us
This page is for those of you who care to learn more about who we are and what we like to do. We live on the Delmarva Penninsula - Delaware and the Eastern Shores of Maryland and Virginia in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the USA. One thing you can probably tell right away from the website, is that we enjoy the coast, the shore and boats...

Our Family - Ron, Kim & Maddie

Ron and Kim have been together for over 10 years and married for over 7 years now... It is amazing, just how quickly time flies. For a blast from the past....You can check out our Wedding.

On March 27, 2006, Ron and Kim added to their family...through international adoption. Madeline is now the light of our lives and we could not imagine our lives without her!

At Home
We live in Delaware. Ron is orginally from Maryland, on the Eastern Shore Kim is from New Jersey, and Maddie was born in Hunan, China. Our family and friends are an important part of our lives. Being the ones that have moved away from our families we're the ones that get to travel quite often. So alot of the time we're driving north or south to visit with them.

It is doubtful that we will ever move off of the Delmarva Penninsula but that is ok with us. It is a wonderful place to live, it's beautiful and it's home. At Play
Oh yes, play...that is a very important part of life. We enjoy a variety of things...some are compatible and some are not. We actually met online at a game called AstroMUD where we both are Administrators (Skalizar and Kaytra). While Kim loves to travel, Ron does not...however, we both enjoy high fantasy (J.R.R. Tolkien) and science fiction (Firefly, Battlestar Gallactica, Stargate SG1, Babylon 5 and Star Trek) including role playing games.

We LOVE the shore, especially in the autumn when all of the tourists have departed, the sun is still warm and a sweater at night is all you need. Kim's family has been going to Surf City on Long Beach Island, NJ since the 1950's, her grandfathers even built the beach house that the family still goes to each year. We also really enjoy the Maryland beaches...Assateague Island. We were lucky enough to spend several weekends down the shore for vacation this year to relax.

Ron enjoys the quiet, rural settings, his computers...yes, we have a network at home and woodworking. Now that we have a nice big garage, err, I mean "shop" hopefully we'll have some nice new furniture to put in the house soon!

Kim on the otherhand enjoys both the city and more rural areas and has been reading voraciously recently, and for her creative side....stained glass and jewelry making!!

Maddie is fascinated with Elmo (as are all toddlers for some reason), enjoys singing, reading books with Mommy and Daddy, running around outside and anything that has to do with Pop pop.


At Work
Work is the necessary evil in some cases, but from time to time we both have bouts of loving and hating our jobs.

Ron works as an IT Manager doing IT type stuff.

Kim is an Environmental Scientist working in Coastal Management.

Maddie doesn't work, she gets to play all day!
